WOYWW

Here's my mess and it's a mess all right. I'm still feeling sick and left everything there for the past week, closed the door and have no intention of opening it again until I can craft without thinking of the pain. And tomorrow I am back to work, oh dear. Hope it's over soon.

Today, I kept thinking of the past and how pain seems to be erased from our memories and all you can remember are the cuddles and your mother's soft voice. Once I remember watching the TV and all of a sudden realize I had dozed off and both mum and grandma were fretting around me, one putting a wet cloth on my face and the other checking the temperature. Another time when I remember mum making me jelly as I couldn't swallow anything. It felt so cool down my throat, yum. See, pain goes away but good times don't and that's what I'm looking forward to.

Good day everyone! Don't forget to visit WOYWW.

Yes the good memories remain. My mom used to buy me mamon (a soft big cupcake)when I would get sick sand up to now, I like buying mamon for the cozy feeling I get while eating it! Hope you feel better soon! Patsy from

I seem to see so many desks sporting remote controls... I'm feeling deprived, there's nothing in here that needs a remote control!

Thanks so much for the sweet words you left on my blog this week. I'm still moving slowly, but trying to start visiting people who visited me. I can certainly empathize with where you are. Being sick or in pain is no fun at all. I like how you can recall the wonderful memories of your childhood. I remember getting homemade chicken noodle soup and 7-up. I never got pop/soda as a child, so that was a real treat! Happy very belated WOYWW (# 15).

I will always remember my mum reading to me whenever I was ill. She used to read till I fell asleep. It's comforting to think about that whenever I'm ill as an adult. Hope you feel better soon x

I wouldn't want to work on anything if I'd feel poorly! Hope you are doing much better now! Love how you remembered the sweet times when someone looked after you while you were doing not so well.

A messy desk but that is what we all want - the snoop is much more fun if there is something to see on the desks!
