Mini Album Pictures

This is the second page of my album. Once again I used the same materials as mentioned below. The stamps are from Fancy Pants - a present I got for Christmas - and See D. I bought the rub-ons from a local stationery. I am not sure if Cute Card Thursday accept Scrapbook on their blog but would like to share what I made with the Fancy Pants stamps!

I just love this photo and wanted to accentuate the blues and greens in it. I found that the patterned paper from the Secret Garden fit the bill as it had both colours.

Materials used for the above:

Sizzix Decorative Accents
See D's Alpha Dots Alphabeth

Below are some other pictures:

The hearts above were heat embossed. I used the Heat it Up! Sea Foam White.

My first Scrapbook!

My first scrapbook, or at least my first mini book. This should have gone in my mother's Christmas stocking but I didn't realize how much work it goes in it until I was deep in it!
I wanted to scrap the photos I took on a family holiday in Northern Italy where went to Verona, Padoa, Dolomites, and even Switzerland. I have photos to make another ten mini books.
I loved scrapping these photos and I tried to use paper that complimented the colours in the photos. My aim was to emphasize the greenery and beautiful scenery - I hope I managed to...

Materials:
Papermania Secret Garden Patterned Paper
Papermania Garden Floral Ribbobs
Prima assorted flower
Pink Core'dinations
Silver Wire
Green Card stock
Doodlebug Velvet Flock - Pink
Everyday Tower Brad
See'Ds Traditional Stamps
I stamped the swirls using pink ink and then went over them with glue pen. After that I sprinkled some flock over them and left to dry. Looking back, I think white flock would have been better on the dark green cardstock - What do you think?
Money Saving Tip: Twist wire with a tweezer and use as the center piece of your flowers. Although it can be time consuming it can save you a penny or two and the metal effect adds an extra dimension to your work!
I seem unable to upload more photos today so I'll continue tomorrow and show you pics of the whole book.
