My first scrapbook, or at least my first mini book. This should have gone in my mother's Christmas stocking but I didn't realize how much work it goes in it until I was deep in it!
I wanted to scrap the photos I took on a family holiday in Northern Italy where went to Verona, Padoa, Dolomites, and even Switzerland. I have photos to make another ten mini books.
I loved scrapping these photos and I tried to use paper that complimented the colours in the photos. My aim was to emphasize the greenery and beautiful scenery - I hope I managed to...
Materials:
Papermania Secret Garden Patterned Paper
Papermania Garden Floral Ribbobs
Prima assorted flower
Pink Core'dinations
Silver Wire
Green Card stock
Doodlebug Velvet Flock - Pink
Everyday Tower Brad
See'Ds Traditional Stamps
I stamped the swirls using pink ink and then went over them with glue pen. After that I sprinkled some flock over them and left to dry. Looking back, I think white flock would have been better on the dark green cardstock - What do you think?
Money Saving Tip: Twist wire with a tweezer and use as the center piece of your flowers. Although it can be time consuming it can save you a penny or two and the metal effect adds an extra dimension to your work!
I seem unable to upload more photos today so I'll continue tomorrow and show you pics of the whole book.
