Papertake Weekly - 9th March

Here is my card for Dawny's sketch on Papertake Weekly. Another great sketch Dawn - I just loved working with it. This card was commissioned by a colleague for his anniversary and must say he was pleased with the outcome. I used the paper I won in Gayle's blog candy - Thanks Gayle!
Materials:
Basic Grey - Sugared
Pink and white cardstock
Rhinestones and Ribbon
Metal Embellishment (not sure on brand - part of blog candy win)
Vellum
Pink and Green Adorindack Paint Dabbers
Lime Core'dinations
Pebbles Chalks
How to:
  1. Trim a panel, slightly smaller than the card blank and another panel from patterned paper by 0.6cm less. Distress the edges.
  2. Print the sentiment on light cardstock, cut and chalk the edges. Use the technique explained in my earlier post to make the flowers from core'dinations and vellum. Dab the vellum with paint.
  3. Stamp the swirls and add the flowers and rhine stones to the small panel.
  4. Fix the ribbon and attache the metal embellishment with craft wire.

Do not forget the blog candy I am offering to two lucky winners! Open till 15th March.
