Penny Black Saturday Challenge: Decorate Inside

How many times has it happened to you - to have the most beautiful paper but not having the will to cut it or punch it? Well I've have this Papermania sheet for 3 months now and it is so gorgeous I did not want to cut it. But today I had the courage to use it, lol. I made two cards with it. One for the PBSC and the other Sillymonkeys DT Call. Below you will see the one I made for the PBSC Challenge. I will post the other later on this week.

Materials:

Double Sided Vertical Stripes by Papermania- PMA 4150o
I used another cardstock in pale blue but don't have the code)
Bicycle Hedgie - Penny Black
Sizzix Stamps (Do not have the code)
Black Staz on ink
Faber Castel Water Colours
Pebble Ink Shimmers Chalk
Blue Sakura Gel Pen

How To:

1. Stamp Sentiment, flower and grass inside. To stamp the grass I used the masking technique - first stamp the flower, cover with a piece of card stock and then stamp the grass. Colour in using water colours.
   
2. Cut the striped paper to cover the card blank. Die cut the frame from plain chipboard and then die cut pale blue card stock.
3. Cut a rectangle slightly smaller than frame, colour in using water colours adding accents with the gel pen and chalk.
4. Once ready stick to cardstock using double sided tape.
