Penny Black Saturday Challenge Wk 109

My mojo is back! These fab Olivia papers by Basic Grey definitely did the trick. I just love all the different designs. What I realized is that I find it so difficult to open a new pack of papers, stamps, embellishments and ruin them. Do you know what I mean? My heart sinks with every brad or flower I use. I think the problem lies in the fact that I can't pop round to a craft shop so easily as Ihave to go to our sister island, the UK or on an online shopping spree and if I do that I know I will be spending a lot of money on postage, urgh.

The first time I set foot in a brick and mortar craft shop was in the Netherlands called Pipoos, and oh mice, they thought I was plain crazy but I'm sure the salesgirls loved me spending about 100 Euros in one hour. I guess that's what happens when you feel deprived of something. Enough talk and down to business now with my take on the Penny Black Saturday Challenge following Beth's sketch.

Wow, I love those papers too! Cute image and love what you did with it. I know what you mean about using "stuff", sometimes when I am down to the last piece of a paper I just adore it's so hard to cut it......kinda crazy!

Aww that hedgehog is so cute.

I have the same problem with my craft stock, don't want to spoil the new set, and don't want to run out.

I'm mostly housebound, so getting to craft shops is hard for me too.

Loving your blog. Just started up, so trying to find my feet in this new world of blogging.
