PBSC Week 107- Patchwork Card

It's been a long time since I took part in any challenge but here I am now with a card for the Penny Black Saturday Challenge. I love patchwork cards and had already tried one as you can see here. I think I'm gonna stick to PB stamps as I just love the way they turn out - these hedgies are just so cute and I find colouring them is so easy. Here are the instructions:

Materials:

Tan Cardstock

Pink ribbon from Hobbycrafts

Faber Kastell water colours

Pebbles Ink Chalk

White Gel Pen

Antique Linen Distress Ink by Tim Holtz

Circle, Scallop Circle and Square Nestabilities

Die Cutting Machine

How to:

1. Cut a panel from tan card.
2. Die cut 9 rectangles using the square nestabilities and paste onto the panel. Put aside for later.
3. Die cut a large scalloped circle and a plain circle (2 sizes smaller) from white cardstock. Die cut a circle of a size in between the other two from tan cardstock.
4. Stamp the image, colour and use chalk for the background. Distress the edges using antique linen and use the white gel marker to added details. Attach everything together and use foam pads on the back.
5. Tie a bow on a thin pain brush (thinner than a pencil), remove and then use tweezers to pull a length of ribbon through it. Stick to the patched panel using double sided tape.
6. Attach everything as shown above.
