Papertake Weekly: Dawny's Sketch 12

Hello everyone, I am sure that some of you have been asking where I've gone. I have been busy making some Mother's Day and Wedding cards. I have also been commissioned to make a male birthday card for a colleague's husband and decided to follow Dawny's sketch on Papertake Weekly. It took me hours to finish but I am very pleased with the result. I took the idea of the topper from an article in Papercraft Inspirations by Jo Kill. If you haven't visited her blog yet you really should.
Materials:

For Him Papers - Papermania
Black, White, Orange and Skin coloured colcardstock
White Gel Pen
Black Pen
Pebbles Ink Chalks
Anita's Stickers
Black and White ink
Sticker ribbons
Scalloped edged scissors
Papercraft Inspirations' Templates Issue 44
How to:
  1. Cut a panel of square patterned paper and stick on card stock. Cut a small black panel, a scallop edged circle using a compass and scalloped edged scissors and a black circle. Distress the edges and oodle dots on the white circle. Assemble as shown.
  2. Cut the teddy following the template and stick on panel.
  3. Cut three different sizes of sticky ribbon and attach to black panel.
  4. Cut two small panels - one slightly larger than the other - and stick sentiment.

Would love to know what you think!
