PBSC - Halloween

I have made my first Halloween card and I really don't know who I can give it to lol - as here in Malta we do not really celebrate Halloween as in countries such as the UK. True, fancy dress parties are organized but its not really a Traditional Maltese festivity...

...But here is my Halloween card for the PBSC and I would like to submit it for the DT Challenge (who knows maybe this time will be the one - hehe - keeping my fingers crossed).
As I didn't have any Halloween stamps I had to be creative as you will see:

Materials:

Orange crepe paper
Papermania Black Square Card
Black Card Stock
Black and White Acrylic Paint
Tooth pick
Jumping Rope - Penny Black
Faber Castel Water colours
Water Paint Brush
Pebbles Inc. Shimmering Chalk
Pumpkin - Copyright free Clipart

Tools:

Sizzix Die Cutting Machine
Twang Die Cut Alphabeth

How To:
  1. Using a toothpick doodle white acrylic dots round the edges of the card blank.
  2. Cut a panel from the orange crepe paper slightly smaller to leave the black edge showing and doodle black dots using acrylic paint.
  3. Stamp the image twice and colour in. Cut around one hedgie and the hand of another.
  4. Print a copyright free image of a pumpkin and colour in. I used three different shades of oranges to obtain this result.
  5. Cut the pumpkin and attach onto hedgie's hand. Stick the extra hand onto pumpkin.
  6. Cut a white panel and chalk brown. Colour in and cut another pumpkin. Stick everything onto the panel.
  7. Die cut the word halloween and stick to orange paper. Assemble everything as shown.

What a fabulous card! I love how you used a "non-halloween" stamp and made it fit the challenge! The big bold letters also are great!
