Thank You Card

For this week I decided to go vintage and make a Thank You Card for a special person. Living on island surely has its advantages blue skies and sea, sunny weather throughout the summer, ice creams, and so on. Still, getting some of the products out there can be a challenge if not for internet or the nice craft shop on our sister island. Well, this Ann often brings me small parcels of goodies from England and I just wanted to thank her for it! I made this card for her and I hope she likes it.

I am also posting this for the Penny Black Saturday Challenge, which had the theme of 'On the Farm'. I would have liked to use cows for the image but don't have any. Well what better chance of seeing a hedgehog if not on a farm?! Definitely not on the Maltese roads lol! Hope this counts and is accepted by the Penny Black designers team!

How To

1. Cut a square from the wine paper slightly smaller than the card. Then cut a smaller square from the flowery paper. Round the corner of the latter using edging scissors
2. Stamp and colour the image, use a compass to draw the circle and cut around it using edging scissors.
3. Cut the tag from the collection of papers and stick the thank you peel off (I used a black permanent marker to colour it).
4. Fix everything as shown. Embellish with brads.
