Today I am posting this card for the Cute Card Thursday Challenge which focuses on men's cards. I have made this card for my husband's birthday, which he seemed to like a lot. I especially like the effect of the striped paper which I feel goes well with macsuline cards.
Materials:
Pizzaz Vintage Papers by HOTP
White Card stock
Pipoos Clear Alphabeth Set
Sizzlits Party Time Set by Sizzix
Edging Scissors
Black ink
Tools
Big Shot Machine
How to:
- Cover the front of a tall card using striped paper and then cut a smaller piece of rectangular paper to cover the middle section as shown. Distress the edges using black ink
- Cut a narrow strip of white card for the top and bottom edges. Using edging scissors cut a one edge to create a scalloped effect.
- Die cut a present three times and put together as shown.
- Stamp the sentiment 'Birthday Boy' as shown after fixing everything to the blank card.
