Mum's the word ...

Here's another card I made for Mother's Day.  I'm really happy with the way the background paper turned out.  Two great brands - Tim Holtz and Hero Arts.  I must say my favorite type of stamps are the clings, even more than the clear ones.  The distress inks work really fine with the rubber of the cling stamps.

Another sleepless night last night or rather a tug of war with myself wondering whether to go on an online shopping spree for more Hero Arts awesomeness.  Well, Ms. We Only Live Once sent Ms.Save Your Pennies straight to the ground and now (yippee) I'm waiting for a parcel to come down my way.  The problem is, I have still so many unopened stamps tucked away, can't help listening to Ms. Save Your Pennies's chiding now.  No, I can't tell you how much I spent (hmm better not) but who can resist the sale going on at Two Peas in a Bucket

UPDATE:
( Thanks for the compliment Desire!)
I stamped the background paper with Cling Dots (Hero Arts) and Tim Holtz Distress Ink Mustard Seed.  The Forever Friends stamp Bear with Heart and cut out several times to give it a decoupage effect.  The banner was stamped with a paper mania sentiment, I cut a strip of acetate and rolled it behind to achieve the 3D effect.
