3 Challenges in 1

A quick post today for the Basic Grey Challenges (add texture), Stamp Something (Spring) and PBSC (doodling). Yesterday I couldn't sleep and ended up making another card at 3 in the morning. I came up with this birthday card and I am going to include the sentiment inside. I realized it came very similar to a card I posted this week, but what can you expect cardmaking at 3 am? Lol, I feel this layout works for this scalloped card blank, so why not?

Materials:
Basic Grey
Brown Velvet Ribbon - Cappucino - Papermania (Can it be more textured than this, hehe?)
Adhesive stones - Fuchsia - Papermania
Pink Cardstock
Fine black pen
Pink embossing powder
Black Staz on Ink
Tools:

Die cut machine
Sizzx Circle #2
Scalloped Edged Scissors

How to:
  1. Trim 2 panels from pink cardstock and patterned paper. The card stock panel should be 1/2 a cm larger than the patterned paper.
  2. Die cut a circle, stamp the image and colour in. Add some glitter on the icing of the cake (I am afraid, itdoesn't show in pic ). Heat emboss the edges with pink embossing powder
  3. Cut a circle with scalloped scissors. Doodle some dots on the scallops
  4. Stick a ribbon on the panels and assemble everything as shown.

Don't forget my blog candy which ends on 3rd April

Hello Josianne,

It's easy to get craft items in Malaysia espcially in the city of Kuala Lumpur. For small towns, it'll be difficult for them to get their items. They may have to purchase them online or find someone to purchase for them. It's kinda pricy and expensive to buy craft items in Malaysia because most of the items are imported from the US or the UK. =)
